Heritage Park in Salt Lake City.

Well, we have about 300 pictures from our trip to Utah. Instead of going crazy and posting them all at once, we sorted them into albums and will be posting them in themes. That is because we're ADORABLE.

Today's theme is Old Fashioned Coolness. We went to This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake, and we totally loved it. It was like Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London.
So cute.

Corina loved the bonnets in the general store. She looked so much like Laura Ingalls that I couldn't resist. I didn't even try to resist. I just bought.

My good little children pulled a handcart for about 3 feet and then gave up. QUITTERS! Brigham Young is ashamed of you both.
I got video and pictures of the kids on the pony rides having a nice time. As soon as I put the camera away, Corina's horse peed, and then it bit Max's horse in the bum and Max's horse attacked Corina's horse. It was very exciting, and unfortunately neither kid fell off their horse. That would have been super fun.
Here they are beating rugs at one of the old houses. They also did laundry by hand, hung it out to dry, and did ironing.

Max and Corina braided a rope together. They made rope! I thought only machines could do that.
They also combed wool. Gross.
Some kids came to visit us from the past. We enjoyed making fun of their clothes.
This is an actual working printing press, which the kids got a chance to use.

This is some good, old fashioned fun. Max got pretty good at it. And Corina...well, she's very pretty.

Time for their shaves.

While it's nice to be home, we totally miss all the fun in Salt Lake. And we REALLY miss Shauna and Jesse, and Annabelle and Chloe. That was the first thing the kids said today - how much they miss them. Sad.

I love that place! It's a hidden little gem that even the locals don't take enough advantage of.
