Tetley Red Tea Commercial Response

My fun letter to Tetley:

I imagine you've already heard this, but just in case...
Your Tetley Red Tea commercial has beautiful music, and kind of beautiful images, except for one problem: the images appear to be made out of menstrual blood. Did any women look at this ad before it was made public? It's pretty gross...

Response:

We would like to thank you for taking the time to contact our Company. Although we were sorry to hear that our new Television Advertisement was not to your liking, at Tetley we believe that comments and feedback from our consumers are invaluable in upgrading and refining our processes, and we thank you for your input. You can be sure that your comments will be passed on to our Marketing Department. Once again, thank you for your valued feedback.
Sincerely,
Kathy Tolj
Tetley Canada Inc. Consumer Services

I wanted more! I wanted her to tell me she agrees. She must agree, unless she hasn't had a period yet. Maybe they use child labour to respond to customer emails. I wrote back that I'm looking forward to hearing from the marketing department.

That seems like a form letter. If it wasn't they would have had to mention the actual pee just because it's so awesome. I hope you didn't forget to tell them to rename it. I hate it when you don't do as I say.

One more thing. I enjoyed your letter to Tetley so much that I am strongly considering framing it and putting it on my wall. Maybe in the bathroom?

She must hate writing responses like that or should run for office. I hope marketing writes you back and doesn't sound like a politician.

YES! I totally agree with you, I just wrote Tetley myself to tell them how disgusting that commercial is, although I wasn't as polite as you. It makes my stomach turn, what were they thinking?

Ha! That's awesome.

I met Kathy and this is hilarious because she is very old fashioned and leads a isolated life. She is in her early 50's married with 3 grown kids. She fits the profile perfect.
